Gena Home

We just completed our second stay at this house in the last 25 months. Once again it was a great place for our family stay. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths upstairs and a master suite on the main floor it provided more than enough room for all of us. Our kids love the theater area upstairs as well as the house's pool and hot tub. But, we spent most of our time at the community pool and in the free game room. The house is very modern and clean, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

The pool is not as big as it looks in the photos but, it still had OK room for our group of 12. Hot tub was the perfect temperature.
The outdoor table/chair set could use replacing - they’re not very comfortable and coming apart in some spots.
PLENTY of pool toys/floats available.
PLENTY of space in the home.
Our group was 6 adults & 6 kids (3-13) and we never felt like we were crowded or on top of each other.

The dryer needs some attention - we had to run loads 2-3 times before they were dry.
The ice maker/water in the fridge were non functional- make sure to bring bottled water as the home is also quite warm (especially the upstairs rooms) however, there are lots of fans available.
The lights in the hot tub work but the pools lights do not.
Parking was TIGHT in the driveway (Ford Flex & Chevy Tahoe)
Game room in garage is humid...and some minor damage to games but that’s to be expected.

Overall, the home was clean, convenient and just what we needed!!

The rental house was very nice and the gated community was very neat and safe. The pool and amenities were very well maintained. It was an overall good experience.

The house is just like the pictures. A lot of space for 12 people to stay. Very convenient to have your own jacuzzi and swimming pool. Also to use the grill and swimming pool heater was included and not a separate charge. We will definitely be back.

Overall stay was wonderful!! Communication with the host was fast. The condo was spacious and comfortable.

Enough space for the family! Enjoyed game room and pool. little issue with internet but was able to reboot using the instructions provided. only negative was no iron and dust pan to sweep up the floor but other than that we enjoyed the west gate amenities and our stay in Orlando!

This house was perfect for our family of 13. This helped make our Disney experience so much better. House was big enough to not make us feel crowded. Kids loved playing in the game room. If opportunity ever presents it self we would definitely stay at this home again.

We rented this home for our Thanksgiving in Orlando. We had six adults and four children, ages 13 to 7. The house was great - plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms. The house was clean when we arrived. The pool/hot tub was wonderful. The kids also enjoyed the game room. I would rent this house again.

Checking in was a breeze. Had a couple of concerns that were addressed immediately. Would most definitely stay at this home again. Recommend properties from these property managers for their great service and response time.

The house was amazing!!! it was Clean, had everything you needed, and the maintenance team came and fixed our internet as soon as we called them! This property is close to attractions and well worth your money! Please do fix or replace the Ironing board and also the coffee pot - I would suggest a kuerig as then you can make a cup at time. I will forward to anyone who makes the trip to Florida! thank you for the hospitality.

Everything about the process from reserving to checkout was seamless. Upon checking in the house was very clean and everything was as described. It was very nice having all the light switches labeled. Very helpful instructions and tips were posted throughout the home. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good working order. Loved having the gas grill and outdoor kitchen. The only issue we had was the front door lock needed to be replaced. We called maintenance and they came out and replaced it. The upstairs electric loveseat would not recline but wasn’t a big deal for us. The pack and play looked to be new and was clean and convenient for us to use for the baby. The baby gates were very nice and saved us a lot of worry. The home is set up and very well equipped for everyone’s convenience and safety. The kitchen is well supplied with new pots and pans, bakeware, and plenty of dishes, silverware, and drinking glasses and cups. The dishwasher only worked on one cycle and needs to be fastened down better. The coffeemaker needed a thorough cleaning and upon doing so worked great everyday after being cleaned. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of storage containers.The game room got a lot of use. Sufficient amount of toys were provided to distract the little ones while the adults played games. We were disappointed the double stroller was not usable needs a new inner tube in front tire. We bought a new inner tube for the girls bike but the tire was so worn it still was not usable due to abuse from prior renters. Sufficient amount of towels but no wash clothes as disclosed, no problem just brought our own. All in all we would, and have, highly recommended to all our friends.We have stayed at Windsor at Westside a few years ago before the new phase and new homes were built. We felt this stay the clubhouse and waterpark were not sufficient to accommodate the amount of extra people. Another waterpark needs to be was not pristine as was during our stay b

The home was spotlessly clean when we arrived and resort staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The home was exactly as pictured and accommodated eight guests with easy, there was more than enough space for everyone. Short drives to theme parks, restaurants and shopping made it a very convenient location.

This was the 3rd time we stayed at this house. It is in a great location, has a great layout, and plenty of room for a large group of people. We love the pool and hot tub at the house, as well as the community pool, lazy river, and free arcade.

The house was huge, great space for my family, plenty of bathrooms. It was located very close to all the Disney parks.

The home was very nicely furnished and had lots of space. The pool was a good size in comparison to some in the community. It would have been nice to have some dish soap (theee were dishwasher tablets) and laundry detergent. Overall a good place to stay!

This house was amazing to stay . We brought our adult children with our granddaughter and they loved it. Had a little problem with the pool for heat but we called them up they were over right away and took care of it, they even had a stroller for us to use. The water park was also a nice feature for the days we just stayed home. Highly recommend this house!

My family of 10 rented this residence during the Xmas holiday. Loved the place and the amenities at the clubhouse. Our only complaint is that we paid $150 for a heated pool and hot tub and neither worked. Though we immediately left messages with maintenance they never came to the property to check out the system - they just blamed it on the weather. After we returned home i had several conversations with the rental company and Matt in maintenance requesting a refund but my logic fell on deaf ears. Very disappointing but I tried to advise them to be more clear about the heat relying on the weather. Though we had a great time, I think the management company should’ve been more responsive if they hope to get better reviews. What happened to honoring the customer?

Great location, close to the parks.

We enjoyed our stay in the Gena Home for for a family vacation , 6 adults & 4 young children, 3 to 8. The home was very clean and nicely equipped and furnished. The property felt very safe and was well maintained. The communal pool, lazy river, and club house complex was the best we've seen by far. Everyone had a great time there in fact we spent very little time at the pool in our yard. If I was to be critical about anything, I would say the outside furniture and BBQ was past it's best before date. Overall I would recommend this property to anyone.

The house was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. We were a family of 11, and everyone was able to comfortable fit with no problem. I loved the upstairs media room to watch movies with the whole family. I would absolutely recommend the Gena Home to anyone that is in need of a spacious vacation home.

The house we stayed in was as good as the pictures showed if not better. Best part of the house was the pool and grill area. We spent many nights after a long hot day at Disney, cooking out, swimming, playing cards on the outside deck area. Rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable beds. House was equipped with almost everything needed except food, and drinks. If you like your privacy, and still have a large family this is the place for you. The resort pool, clubhouse, and bar was only a block away, easy to walk to as needed. Highly satisfied with entire stay.

Excellent house for a multi-generational group
Only suggestion would be to take tea towels as the house only has one or two and the knives are not sufficient for prep work. Baggies and paper towels would be helpful to take too. Toilet paper is in short supply. Obviously, these items can be purchased locally so it isnt a big deal, just a suggestion.

I did my research, checking out all the communities in the area and reading reviews and finally settled on the Gena Home. I wasn't disappointed. The house was perfect for 8 audults and 5 grandkids. The house was in excellent shape and had all the amenities we needed. The community pool was fabulous for the grandkids where they spent many hours playing while the adults drifted down the lazy river. The home was close to Disneyworld (about a 15 minute drive) and close to everything else we needed to get to. It was also nice to get our security deposit back within a couple of days of leaving. I highly recommend this home.

This rental property is great in all aspects. It is very comfortable, clean, and is about as close as you can get to the resort amenities. My only suggestion would be for the owners to update a few of the kitchen items and the beds are not the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The property management company is great to work with and extremely responsive.

My advice to renters would be to check with Windsor at Westside as to whether there are any large groups staying at the property. If so, book a different week. We happened to be there during a large festival where a group had rented many of the homes and had a large food tent on the green space all week. These guests acted like they owned the place. They were not friendly, drove golf carts recklessly through the property without regard for my children, left trash in the volleyball court, playground area, and pond, and at one point were throwing popsicles into the lazy river to other group members which were melting and then wrappers were floating in the river. We stayed at this resort last year without a major group and the stay was much more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Gena Home. The house was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It had everything and we needed and more. We didn't want to leave. Walking distance to resort pool and lazy river. Would definitely recommend to everyone and would love to return one day.

We rented the home located at 9046 Rhodes St located at the Windsor/Pulte Resort. We were extremely impressed with the size and cleanliness of the home. It was more than large enough for our family of 9. We had some minor issues with light bulbs being out, etc. and the issues were resolved very quickly. The resort itself is fabulous. We loved the pool, the lazy river, and the poolside bar. All of the staff were so pleasant. We would definitely rent there again.

There were 10 of us staying at the house, 6 adults and 4 children. There was MORE than enough space to accommodate us. Love that the house had playstation (with games) for the kids to play. This kept them entertained and upstairs while the adults hung out downstairs. The game room is in the garage and also had plenty for the kids to do, but it was always hot in there so this limited the time spent there. The location is great, 20 minutes from Disney. There are tons of restaurants and stores in driving distance to the house. The community pool was wonderful!!! The kids enjoyed the lazy river so much. The pool at the house was small, but the kids enjoyed this as well. We had an issue with the pool, water turned green, they came to add chemicals within an hour of my call. The only downside to the house is there is only 1 bathtub in the whole house. This is not the best when you have small children. There were also roaches here and there in the house. There is a lot of construction going on in the area, so not sure if this is where they are coming from. But all in all, I would definitely recommend the house and would stay again if I were in the Orlando area again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation home!Great location. Quick walk to the resort which had lots to offer. Home was spacious. Knob to spa was broke but could be turned on with pliers. Maintenance stopped to say new knob was ordered. Not a lot of mixing bowls & some cooking utensils should be replaced, but we made do. We also brought foil roasting pans of various sizes which worked great. Quiet time is 10pm-8am, but they mowed at 7:10 am. We live in a farming community so we didn't mind, just thought it was funny. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you for a wonderful two weeks with family! The space is enormous with areas for togetherness and privacy. Couldn't have been more pleased. Loved how close it was to the resort. House was perfect but wished the resort would stay open past 8:00.

My friends and I had a blast.

We had a wonderful visit to the Orlando area as we made a trip to baseball spring training as well as some of the parks. We had 4 adults and 2 children, and the house was great for all. The pool was great, and the kids loved the game room. The closeness of the clubhouse made it easy to take advantage of the lazy river and pol. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Every thing was great and we would certainly consider this house again.

This was an amazing house to stay in for 9 days. The kids spent most of the day (and night) in the big pool, small pool, and hot tub. The media room upstairs was a great bonus. We were close to the clubhouse which made an easy walk Very beautiful place. The only small issue was that our house's pool and hot tub could have used a cleaning.

Perfect for multiple families. Pool and hot tub heated much better than expected. Great location within community. Walking distance to lazy river, arcade and other amenities.

The resort is excellent. May be we were a little early with some building working still going on but the property management dealt with our concerns very professionally. I am happy to recommend this property and the agent.

Both the house and amenities in the club house were great. The house very comfortable and enough space for everyone to enjoy on their own or share time together. The arcade machine in the clubhouse are complementary GOOD SURPRISE!!! and the lazy river is awesome.
